Looks, er, weird

So bad dog owners get sent abroad to learn to train some 'tough'/professional dogs?

And did one of them get attacked by a bull? Why would anyone let a novice take charge of their dogs when the dog's life may be at risk?

Hmmmm not sure what I'm gonna make of this show! Although I suppose one good thing might come out of it - it might show the 'general population' that it's usually not the dogs fault but their humans!

Thanks for the heads-up Murf

Fantastic, I predict an upsurge in forum activity across the internet.

Heated debates.

A national shortage of soapboxes.

An opportunity for the professionally outraged.

I am counting the days...................

I think that about sums it up!

It doesn't appeal too much to me for various reasons including yes, the fact that it looks rather dog borstally. Maybe too much emphasis on yelling at owners, making them humiliated or even setting things up so that dogs get a scare or injured... not to mention "be the pack leader" Groan.

Hope my first impressions are wrong!!

Also I believe a lot of this sort of programme is very contrived.

I am going to get my recording of the BBCs The Underdog
Show out again - now that for the most part was very well done. Will watch it to remind myself that the BBC can get it right

Under dog was that the one where the celebrities/tv presenters had to go to a dogs home, and work with a dog for a few weeks and get it trained up to find a new home? I can vaguely recall one of the news presenters taking home a huge lurcher-type dog. If so.... i loved that show, a shame they didn't make it again.

I think if its also the one i'm thinking of, cbbc did a shortened version of it, with children training up the dogs.
