This film does nothing but buy into the myth that wolves are man eaters and blood-thirsty killers. I will not be going to see it!

I'll probably enjoy it if it has Liam Neeson in it - whatever the subject matter!

I would like to see it, but am not keen on the idea that it portrays wolves in such a negative light (as is so often the case)

Well I finally watched this on dvd last night and I have to say I was not impressed on a few levels.

I found the film rather samey samey throughout, with a very limited storyline.

The film does buy into the myth that wolves are vicious evil killers and goes one step further by portraying them actually hunting to murder human beings - and not even to feed off.

Then the wolves themselves were ridiculous. I was expecting to see either "real" (trained) wolves/wolf lookalikes or at the very least a really believable fakes - however they were like muppet puppets , kind of akin to the Werewolf in American Werewolf in London - and no more believable.

All in all, really disappointed.

Has anyone else seen it? What did you think?

I thought much the same as you Kirsty, it surprised me as any film with Liam Neeson in is usually fairly decent but I did have a few chuckles at some of the 'wolves' - don't think that was the aim of the film somehow
