Joint supplements for an active dog

hi guys
just wanted some opinions on joint supplements, I am thinking it may be an idea as a preventative measure for my dog. He is a 6 and a half year old lab who does flyball, agility, obedience and long walks out with my horse.
Do you think this is a waste of money or should I keep him as he is until I have reason to think he is starting to have problems. What joint supplements do you guys recommend
Many thanks
Sarah and (Ollie the lab) xx

Hi

Glucosamine and cod liver oil are both good for joints....keeps them supple.

Human meds off the shelf are the same as those from pet suppliers.....and can be much cheaper.

I give Pereg Glucosamine with Chondroitin and MSM, also Green Lipped Mussel extract. She is just four years old and I give these as a preventative, not because she has a particularly active lifestyle.

They are human supplements, not canine ones, and are the same as the ones I take.

I've recently put all mine onto Yumove. They all do agility (to varying degrees) and visit the chiropractor twice a year so I asked her which one she would recommend and it was Yumove. She says she has seen amazing results and, no, she isn't on commission!

I use Yumove, another fan, great stuff and really helpful company I tried mobile bones for three months but it gave my girl eye gunk (maybe the wheat in it ??).

I also give high EPA fish oil and Vitamin E
