Hope you are feeling OK today, it will be very strange for a long while without him, your other dogs will give you comfort and lots of love.

Thanx for asking, we're doing ok trying to keep busy and not give myself or the others too much time to dwell on it. It's been very quiet in the house and Rio is definately not herself, I keep finding her sitting staring at the front door. Not surprising as they've been joined at the hip since she was 7 weeks old. It's hard as he was such a big presence in our lives but we are comforted by knowing we acted swiftly and by doing so prevented him suffering at all.
We haven't been out yet as I was tied to the house yesterday waiting for autoglass to replace a cracked windscreen. Tomorrow will be our first walk without him which will no doubt be odd, the bug**r won't be their to lead them all astray on his forays deep in the undergrowth.
