Having paid for years and years and for loads and loads, I got my exemption when I was diagnosed with diabetes. A small plus

I was tested for hypothyroidism a while ago and actually hoped I had it so I'd get free scripts when I go back to work. I didn't have it though so I'll have to pay (I'm on medication for life).

I'll probably get the one where you pay for 6 months all at once because some of my pills run out befre others so I never get them all at one time.

I've paid since I left college and recently found out (nobody bothered to tell me) that having a colostomy entitles me to free prescriptions!

I've had the colostomy since I was 14 but have been paying for them for nearly 3 years! Typical!

Yep it's typical int' it

When I was in hospital for the first time (for 6 weeks) my mum was paying every day for car parking. Then after I'd been in the second time for a few weeks they told her she could get a special ticket so it didn't cost nearly as much - took them a few months before they told us
