I'm with Tilly, but it's Zena's bedroom at mine! Houses a huge dogbed under there, I shall sorely miss it when I move

Our under stairs bit is actually in the utility room, it had the dogs big chest freezer in there with their other bits and bobs.

i love the ikea hackers site for amazing ideas - but this is a fab solution for under stairs storage i think : i have seen it on the hackers site but can't find it

Mine has an old bookcase being used as a shoe rack on the right, dogs freezer at the end, coats, harnesses, leads hung up on the left, hoover in front of the freezer and as much junk as I can pile behind the freezer and on top of the bookshelf!
And a bag of dried dog food.

Ours is accessible from the outside of the house (dunno if it was a coal store or something in the past) and not from inside so it serves as the garden shed/lawnmower store/dumping ground.
