Now that looks great from the distance shot. Is there any chance you could post a couple closer up please? I'm trying to convince my other half to do this if we can cover the cost, if he can see it looks as good close up I might be able to win him over.

Our back garden needs major attention. The lawn is completely over run with moss and weeds now. I looked into having the whole lot flagged over, but the cost is horrendous for decent looking flags to match the existing ones already out there.

I've also mentioned fake grass a couple of times (no idea how much it costs though) and so far he's not keen on the idea, although he's the one that doesn’t spend time out there as he hates gardening, and I'm the one that has to do it with the bad back.

One tip I can give you is that when the weather has been dry for a while, ours can smell of widdle if it is too dry and no rain to water it through, we fill a watering can and use zoflora in it and water the lawn last thing at night so it dries overnight and ok for the dogs to walk on in the morning.
Thanks for the tip! I will keep that in mind

Too much mud?
Ours was like a hippos palace before we had it done lol,
they take a layer off the top and then level it all out, then hardcore then sand, level it all then weed barriers then the grass.
If you've got a muddy lawn id really recommend it
No more muddy pawprints!

We chose quite an expensive one because its garunteed for 10years and its extremely hard wearing.
It cost us about £3,500, it cost £22 per square meter, but others we had seen were about £11 per square meter, so it does vary greatly.

Very smart . Our garden is looking a bit raggedy but it's not something we could consider - I don't think the chooks would forgive us if we took their grass away
