Upset tummy

Poor Bella has the runs, she messed all over the floor in the night bless her and I got back from the school run to find it everywhere and she had urinated- don;t know what she has eaten

What is the best plan of action ? Do I starve her for 24 hours? Just give her dry biscuits? Should I continue with her walks?

I am leaving the door open so she can get outside when she wants now - Poor Bella

Poor little girl! If she has an appetite I would try some boiled rice and chicken? Usually helps our boys! We usually keep them away from kibble and biscuits when they have an upset tummy. Hope she feels better soon!

Poor Bella, she is probably feeling that all her dignity has gone The wee was probably due to anxiety over the mess that she had made.

If she is well in herself, and is hungry, then give her something very bland and safe in small quantities.....some people swear by rice and chicken, but others say that the rice actually makes the condition worse.

Potato is good, as is boiled fish, it's all a question of try it and see. If she is not hungry then just take the food up and leave her until tomorrow before trying again, but water intake is important so do try to make sure that she drinks plenty.

I do hope that she is better by tomorrow.

Thank you.

She demolished chicken and rice last night and appears to have settled as no mess this morning, just very lethargic

Maybe a bit of a bug passing through then keep up the chicken and rice today and see if she perks up any If she still seems poorly tomorrow I'd call the vet for advice over the phone (free) and see what they suggest, but hope she soon feels herself

If her poo still isn't solid maybe try Pro-Kolin, it's just a probiotic, and might make her start to feel a bit better? It works wonders on ours..

Yes this worked for Samson too, got his from vets at £17 a tube + consult fee so that is a great price, think i've read on here you can use Yakult (little pro-bio yoghurt drink) with the same effect
