I found Cilit Bang to work really well, but I didn't have much limescale as my bath has only been in just over a year.

But being a bored housewife (NOT) I have seen many daytime programs with people using white vinegar and bicarb, works great..........see too much time on my hands

Here in Lincolnshire, limescale is a way of life We bought a new kettle on Monday, a clear one ...it already has a white lining to it

Same here in Kent limescale is a way of life.. Our local radio did some testing on Cillit they came to the conclusion that it was useless.

my kettle button will not stop down by itself , i have to hold it for about 30 secs is this because of limsecale build up ?
