katie has a hole in her leg.

Katie and Dori had a fight outside this morning and after Katie was limping had a look could see anything, but she keeps licking it so had another look and she has a hole about a size of a penny and it is deep, not sure if she has caught it or may be Dori claw done it, I don't think it is a bite as it would be both sides? wouldn't it.

Anyway wanting for the on call vet to phone

She is going to have to have antibiotics and a cone to stop her licking it, they cant stitch it as the skin is to thin there and it is in a funny place, It could take 2 to 3 weeks to heal and the new thing now is honey put it on and the bacteria helps it to heal
she thinks it was may be one of Dori's fangs. she's a naughty girls all of katie's injuries have been coursed by her

Aww, sorry to hear this Hun...reading your first post I was about to say it does sound like a puncture wound from a tooth and I see the vet says the same.

Healing hugs to Katie and a 'tch tch' to Dori.

It was the on call vet that said honey but when i went to get the tablets our normal vet was there and had a look and he just said to use salt water.
If I use the honey I will have to put the collar on her and don't really want to do that She get stessed enough love her.
Just given the first ones try and get them working, they are all asleep now

I hate it when Dori has these bad days you can just see it in her face I was stood in the garden for 15 minutes earlier trying to get a twig off her as she had scared peat away and was being possive over it, She will drop it straight a way normal but if she has it on her, she looks at you and slowly shuts her eyes and wont move, I had some coins in my pocket so throw them on the slab she soon let it go wish I had thought of it sooner it's flipping cold today.
