What do you use to store dry food in?

Just curious to see what everyone's preferred method is - to keep food fresh and sealed.

I need to vote for first and last.
A bag lasts 4 weeks. I take a week's worth and store it in a plastic container, with the measuring scoop and then roll down the top of the big bag to seal it as well as I can. The bag is stored indoors in a col dry place, the week's supply lives in a kitchen cupboard.
No probs thus far.......................

Although i ticked the tuperware,it is infact a large sealable plastic 'Bakers complete' barrel which can hold a 15kg sack of dry food with room to spare.PAH were giving them away years ago if you bought a sack of the same food.

carole, Just to let you know they are working very well now too

I used to contain the food in all these separate tuppaware containers as I didn't have one big enough to store the whole lot of a 15kg sack, well it all got irritating and fiddly, now I just empy a full 15kg sack into one of these big blue airtight containers and store it in those.

Even though they go through 15kg in two weeks between the teo of them I still don't like to just leave it in the bag open to the air.

We have three separate ones for cat food and the different dog food. We did used to keep them outside but when we tried that here, when we moved, the badgers kept knocking the bins over!
