Pleased to hear that you are feeling a lot happier. Sometimes you really do need the patience of a saint, plus two pairs of hands, and four pairs of eyes, when a pup comes into your life

Very young pups always are good off-lead because you are their security in a big, sometimes scary, world so they tend to stick close. Once they become a bit more confident the urge to explore kicks in and off they go. Keep him on a long line and practice calling him to you. Give him praise and a treat when he returns and then let him potter off again. Do this lots of times during a walk so that he associates coming quickly back to you with good things.

There are a lot of recipes for stuffing kings, e.g. http://www.nomorefleas.com.au/media/TechKongStuff.htm if you search for kong+recipes on Google you will find heaps.

Nothing worth having comes easy.

Keep up the good work with the training, be patient, he's only a little boy, and remember he just wants to please you. Good luck - there's lots of shoulders to cry on here, if you need it.

hi all

thanks for all ur kind comments.

I just want to tell you about Buster meeting Ozzy who is a yorkie! well what a fab time we had, Buster is obviously bigger than him and they were so excited to meet.

It started off with Ozzy chasing Buster who was still a little wary of other dogs which was hilarious to watch but he soon got the hang of it and it changed to Buster being the chaser but as Ozzy is so small he could hide under the sofa and Buster couldnt get to him! he he

On a serious notice Busty is quite skinny for a staff even tho he loves to eat and i feed him 4 times a day. We met his mother who was definately a full breed but not that chunky but we didnt meet his dad tho we was assured he is a staff. so we are quite unsure as to wether he is actually a full breed???
