Must admit, when I first heard of this I thought it was highly insensitive towards Gareth and his family... but it has actually turned out pretty good, and brought some attention to the fact that it has been reported that Gareth uncovered some big secret. I mean, why would 'they' (whoever they are!) kill him in such a manner as to make a statement? They could have just made it look like an accident!

I enjoyed the program, just thought it was all a bit far fetched tbh as you say they could have just bumped him off and made him disappear or make it look like an accident.

Yes that's the one. There were reports (in the Guardian I think) that Gareth had found some very incriminating evidence against Bill Clinton - others are suggesting he found much worse.
