Years ago my folks had a lovely rescue dog - collie/pointer most likely, named Jess. There used to be a TV programme on C4 back then, an Arts show called Without Walls, and the intro was just an armadillo running around on the screen accompanied by some music.

Jess adored that armadillo and would run round the back of the TV to see where it went. She was so in love with it that as soon as she heard the theme music she'd run straight in and sit looking at the TV for her Armadillo. So Dad video'd it and used to replay it for her.

Eventually you only had to hum the theme music to get her excited - bless!

We had a cocker who was an avid snooker fan, he would sit glued to the tv

My CKC jumps up at the tv and woofs and growls at any dog on there, very annoying if you are watching a doggy programme
