Put it this way, if you were to view my garden from space you could mistake it for the moon ('craters', dug by my darling woof).

The Shorthairs are diggers, the others aren`t. But then, they know there`s something there if they`re digging - moles, rats, rabbits. And yes, I have been presented with a mole They`ve got cute little pink feet and velvet fur.

Not when they've been in a Boxer's mouth they haven't! They are wet through and covered in slobber

P.S. Since they leave molehills all over my garden and allotment, I'm happy for Murphy to catch them!!

well my little terroer harvey is suposed to like digging, but has never done it..mmmm

my other two didn't dig until they smelt something nice in the garden, they keep digging the same patch though so not such a huge problem for me, one is NI x GSD the other full GSD....i hear there are quite alot of avid GSD gardeners...

Jobie has only dug a couple of times, seemed to enjoy it, but didn't enjoy getting told off so much

Mine dig usually in the hope that there is something small, furry and crunchie at the end of it!
Here's Dolly as a pup though!

I actually wish Coco ( boxer ) would dig the earth in the flower beds, but oh no, she likes to dig up the grass, huge holes, I repair with turfs cut from somewhere else, and just when grass has taken she digs again, have about 10 turfs on the go now, flower beds getting bigger by the day, as thats where I cut chunks from!!!
