Do you give your dog anything to stop grass burning?

I use to have a lovely garden with very green grass. Since we got the dog the grass has got yellow patches all over the place. Is there anyway of stoping or aiding with the repair? I know theres always training the dog to go to a part of the garden but its easier said than done, especially if your pushed for time in the morning!

Thanks

Follow up the wee with a watering can full of water - dilutes the effects.

Have the hose at the stand by, a quick flash with that will do the trick - tried and tested

Dig it up well, it is the only complete answer or of course stick to dogs who only kill off the shrubs.

Dog rocks are good helped with my lawn last year, mind you its like a graveyard now with all the holes Axel has dug grass burns are the least of my worries
I also give Axel pilchards in tomato sauce once or twice a week that works its the tomato that does it so a squeeze of tomato ketchup in the food will help.

Yep mines kill shrub's, and dump on the grass but I just lift that.
This reminds me off my OH who tried weed killer on the grass to get the weed's out.
He didn't think it would kill thegrass just the weed's.
Men huh.xxxxxxxx
