Miggin, the Pie Man!

This little chap is being run on by my OH, he's been called Miggin, after Mrs Miggin's Pie Shop in Black Adder, as he's a bit of a chunky chap and has obviously eaten ALL the pies! He's been here a day, and as you can see, he's fitting in with Aunty Indie, who is puppy sitting him beautifully.

Not a bad retrieve for a 9 week old pup.......

A bit of a bum tuck moment......

Copying what Aunty Indie's doing, trust her to teach him all her bad habits .....

If we wag our tails hard enough, those people over there might give us a treat, come on, get wagging and look cute darn it!!

Joking aside, the only thing I'm doing with this pup is getting him used to his name, pipping the whistle when he's running back, getting him interested in coming back to me as well to build up his recall, and only a couple of little retrieves with a ball before it's put away. Other than that, he's just being a puppy, running around and exploring, training will come later

Thank you for the lovely comments, Miggin the little Pie Man has most certainly relaxed right at home, he is a gorgeous bundle of energy! I am certainly going to have my hands full as he starts to grow up, he's quick enough now at 9 weeks old!!

He's adorable, she's obviously getting in there and teaching his all the important stuff before you corrupt him with sensible instructions!!

Ahhhh good old sensible Auntie Indie I tell you what, I've said it many times before, but if I could clone her, I would, and I could find homes for the lot of them.

Anyway, back to my little Pie Man, the OH is pleased that he's recalling to the whistle well, knows his name, and is as bright as a proverbial button. Will try and get a few more pics of him (Miggin, not the OH) over the next few days, although it's a bit hectic here atm.
