A rose by any name....

It's been over a year since my welsh terrier,Maya went over the bridge & after some coaxing I filled out an application at an Airedale rescue 2 weeks ago & settled down for a long wait.

This morning they called with a 4 year old female that seemed likely & after a long chat it occurred to me to ask the dog's name "why it's Maya" she said.......I just about fell out of the chair! The lady said "wasn't that your previous dog's name?" Eerie isn't it......we're setting up a meet on the weekend! It's fate yes?

WE WERE IN WALES AND WENT TO SEE THESE PUPS, SOME MERLES TOO, BUT SKYE KEPT JUMPING OUT AT ME.....A TRI. WELL WE TOOK HER AND IT'S LIKE HAVING MEG REINCARNATED, SHE SO REMINDS US OF MEG IN ALL OF HER WAYS. SEE FATE.

Good luck with your meeting.

Thanks all, it is spooky but I think I'll get used to it....the lady at the rescue said that she thought it's pronounced a little differently;more like "mi"ah instead of the "may"ah that I used, I didn't want the same breed because I'd always think of my old dog, so compromised with a similar breed & look what happens!
