oscar update

back from vets, oscar had endscopy, x rays and bloods and waiting biopsy to bre 100% but he has enlargred layrngeal cartilage, which is msot liekly (99%) cancer.

an advanced form and so untreatable, so pending biopsy results will tell us life expectency etc ..

vets wee nice until it came to bill, 351 pound, whihc htye want by tomorrow, wont do a payment plan o ranything.

so basically i am now screwed.

Poor Oscar My thoughts are with you both right now.

The vets will have to let you pay in installments, it's impossible for them to expect you to pay the bill in full...They can't have what you haven't got x

Have you asked if you can pay in instalments? I remember when Tawney had her strokes I was in a particularly bad way financially at the time, I explained all this to them, and obviously that I was concerned that I didn't want her to suffer because of my situation, and they were brilliant and very understanding, I only paid for her medication, and they even signed a prescription form (free) so I could buy it cheaper off the internet. I got myself back on my feet shortly after, but I had a very rocky few months. They let me pay what I could when I could.
