Sore around mouth and being sick

We have just come back from the vets, having taken the Jimster because of a sore area around his mouth - also he has not been himself for a while, sleeping even more than usual and sometimes being sick at night.

The vet examined him thoroughly, and then said that he was not convinced that the sore area was the main problem - just a symptom. He took some blood, and will either ring tonight or first thing in the morning with the results.

Am a teensy bit worried now about what could be wrong.

Thank you Lynn and Lynne - it's worrying because the vet wouldn't tell me what was in his mind.

Exactly TW - and I shall be worried sick until the vet rings. Thank goodness the bad old days of having to wait for days for results to come back from a laboratory are over.
