Cassie - another fit :-(

Cassie had another fit about 1/2 an hour ago. She was on the bed with us when it started. I got her onto the floor safely and talked her through it with John.

It's only 3 weeks since the last one though so that isn't good news. She's already booked at the vet at 10:30 this morning for another blood test as the lab lost the last one. It just makes me wonder how much medication the poor thing has to take to get this under control

She's already on 250mg of Epilease once a day and 30mg of Phenobarbitol 3 times a day I'm worried now that they aren't going to be able to control the Epilepsy

Will see what the vet says when John goes later. Please send those Dogsey vibes for Cassie. You're all so good at positive vibesxx

oh no bless her, its just the case of getting the meds right. My friend has a epileptic collie, her specisalist has his meds to allow him to fit around once a month, apparently this specialist believes there "needs" to be a outlet for this energy . he was fitting ALOT before though.

If you want to see this gorgeous dog, look on ObedienceUK, Out & about, Crufts Dog Day 3, Look down for Shirley & copper. Huge Red & white dog

I could find the name of her specialist if you want

Oh honey, I know you're feeling really awful about this, but it takes time to get the meds just right. Whatever it takes, your vet will get there in the end, I'm sure.

Huge hugs for you and John and a gentle squish for the Princess x0x0x0x0x
