Our youngest cat is a Bengal Mix, and will admit I have bought a clicker training for cats book. She is very smart, feisty, and a mass of fun.

Definitely NOT a cat person here.

Not included in the list are:

1. Not getting any sleep due to cats playing/sleeping on head/batting at feet every single time you move.

2. Cats who show you they're done being petted by scratching you before leaving your lap.

3. Their kneading thing SUCKS. Ouch.

4. They're not good hiking partners.

And my friends who have cats DO clip their nails to keep them shorter. Is that not common?

How can they do that if you dont have one?

2. Cats who show you they're done being petted by scratching you before leaving your lap.
That will mean they actually didnt like you.

3. Their kneading thing SUCKS. Ouch.
Again, it would have to have been ON you for you to know that, weird if you dont like them. Cats are far better at "reading" people than dogs.

4. They're not good hiking partners.
Why would they be? A dog has no choice does it?

NO, its not common at all, their nails are shaped like that for a reason!
