Dennis is a lovely older collie, who only has three legs, and has come back to Wiccaweys from his previous home as they were unable to keep him.

Dennis came back to rescue very overweight, making it difficult for him to get around and feeling extremely frustrated with life. He has now lost his weight and despite being of more mature years, and his disabilities, is determined to enjoy life to the full. This wonderful older gent has so much love to give and has a real cheeky personality.

Dennis has an active mind and, therefore, would enjoy someone being around him most of the day to keep him entertained. He will also need help occasionally over obstacles that other dogs take for granted. He does enjoy playing with toys and even has a go at fetching a ball. He can go for very short walks and enjoys pottering about around the home and garden.

In his current foster home Dennis attends hydrotherapy once a week which helps keep his joints supple, and gives him the opportunity to have a good stretch without putting pressure on his remaining back leg.

Dennis is excellent with other dogs and travels well in the car. However, he is not a great cat lover and will bark persistently at them.

Dennis is looking for a very special home who will give him the pampering he deserves
