Looking for hotels that will take 3 dogs in south England-- any advice?

Hi all!

We spend 2 months out of each year in France. It is my husband's ancestral home, and he is the last of his line-- there is no one else left to look after it. Not going there is not an option: there is a lot of stuff that has been neglected and needs fixing, and since we are going to be there anyway, family like to come and stay with us and vacation plans are already in place.

We normally take three days to drive down, and usually stay with a cousin. Unfortunately she can't put us up this year as her cat is elderly and sick and doesn't need three dogs mucking up her life right now. Very few hotels will admit three dogs. Does anyone have any recommendations for a place in the Peterborough/Leicestershire/Birmingham area? We're quite easy, but we do need all three dogs to be admitted. All the dogs are older and very laid back, good travellers and friendly. We would prefer not to have to get two rooms, but if needs must, needs must.

Thank you so much! I'm not discounting campsites (though husband is extremely skeptical; he's not the camping type, even extremely civilised car-camping such as this would be). Cheers!

Or try private owned static caravans on sites, some of them will take 3 dogs depending on breed and as long as they are well behaved and you clean up after them.
