Dog friendly pubs/restaurants in or near leeds

Hi everyone, I love to have a nice walk with my Scampy and then go for lunch at a pub or restaurant and take Scamp with me. I have found many dog friendly pubs/restaurants while on holiday (particularly in Keswick) but wondered whether anyone had come across any dog friendly pubs in Leeds?

It seems that many places in Leeds are not dog friendly and cote health and safety as an excuse for not allowing dogs into their establishments, which is rubbish. Does anyone have any experience of good dog friendly places in Leeds?

ASDA café?.......Leeds isn’t a tourist hotspot so to speak, therefore there won’t be much incentive for business to allow dogs. I live in south Cumbria, a lot of places are open for dogs here- due to tourism, and the money it brings.
Are there many Muslims in Leeds? Apparently they dislike them, they think they are dirty, and dog's saliva is impure.
