Harvest mites are an orangey red colour, very small and you will most likely find them in tight between the toes. They can also been found on the top of the feet as well as travelling up the legs and occasionally higher in small breeds.

They are intensely itchy for the dog and most usually picked up from the longer grass at this time of year. With the right preparation (shampoo), they can be got rid of in one treatment, can't remember the name of it.
