the great british spirit

i watched a program on history channel this morning about the falkland islands invasion in 1982. during the early stages of the invasion, the governor, SIR REX HUNT, spoke to the local radio station DJ to keep broadcasting as long as possible to keep the islanders spirits up. the dj immediately broacasted the record " strangers in the night " !!. now, that's PRICELESS, it sums up the great british spirit in a nutshell.

I have to say I watched it yesterday afternoon and it made me proud to be British. When they invaded the radio station and the DJ refused to do anything until they had stopped shoving the gun in his face!
