I know!! It is extraordinary just how much my boys love horses - Hal I had just started to take out riding with me (on the horse who is mum to Molly, the mare in the photo - sadly she was killed in the accident I had) - then when we got Tai, he made it quite clear that he too loved horses and always wants to go and say hello, although I always put them on the lead as soon as I see horses coming because often they are very frightened. Even Ben, he is fantastic with horses, and of all the boys, you would think he could be a problem, but no, he's great, and once they have been introduced to the horse, or horses, they too settle. Both dogs love to "kiss" horses - you can see from the photo of Tai that his tail is frantically wagging as he tries to investigate the inside of Molly's mouth.

I'm leaving work to go home - I'll try and get some more pix up when I get back, provided OH isn't hogging the pooter.

Thanx for your lovely comments x

They have lovely coats.
Do they take a lot of grooming?

Putsborough Beach in North Devon. We have rented cottages there for the past 2 years in January. The boys love it there, and it is an idea training ground for Ben because you can keep yourself well away from other dogs, and you have plenty of time to get them under control well in advance if needs be.

They do, esp Ben. His coat is very fine and silky and goes into the most horrendous mats if you don't keep on top of it. As he dislikes being groomed so much, we have to muzzle him to be on the safe side, although he would never bite us. He does make the most horrendous noises though and threatens, and I just don't think it is fair on the dog to have him put in a position where one of us has to go to hospital with an obvious dog bite.

So we do try to keep on top of it. Tai is an absolute love, and although he hates his tail being brushed because of the kink he has in the bone, he takes it on the chin like the good boy he is. This weekend is grooming weekend, as they haven't been done for several weeks because of pressure of work. When we do them we will get out a bin liner of undercoat fluff off both of them I expect!
