Great British Greyhound Walk

Did anyone else go ? I was at the Cannock Chase Walk this morning with Tom and Bella, we had 73 hounds attend and all enjoyed a lovely walk with sausages and home made doggie biscuits on our return, RGT made a good bit of money and there was a loti of interest in rehoming the lovely hounds ;0)

A total of 2279 greyhounds, lurchers and sighthounds walked today as part of the Great British Greyhound Walk.
Its an amazing amount. Unfortunatly because of Kyiro's foot we couldn't make it other wise it would have been 2281 with my two.
Next year we will be there.

Sadly I still lack one fundamental prerequisite of this - the greyhound part.

Still waiting

In our area the walks are every Sunday, occasionally a local greyhound rescue does a walk or a show on a Saturday.

You can still go without a greyhound as there are many greyhound owners most of whom have more than one dog and often 4 or more so they are always glad of someone to help out by taking one or two and that way you could get to know the hounds better as well as have some fun
