That is what is debated, noone really knows if inverts can feel pain but the conclusion has been come to that their neurological systems aren't developed enough for them to comprehend fear or pain and therefore they don't suffer. That is how it was explained to us at college anyway

I was told there is some way round the law for feeding live food. I can't remember the exact details of the technicalities tho.

I keep a large vietnamese blue beauty snake, corn snake & a bairds rat snake. No experience with keeping lizzards tho.
