Polo's birthday today

I lost Polo in May. Today would have been his 8th birthday, officially a veteran but not here to celebrate it.
His first birthday since I lost him....... I hope it gets easier.....

Its a tough time but stay strong, we have just had the 2nd birthday since storm left, the first was horrible but the 2nd was so much easier, where the first one we thought of the things we missed and missing him the second was more remembering all the good things and funny things he did, a lot happier time.

Thanks to you all for your kind replies. I have been in tears most of today, not just thinking of Polo but my so-called new friend has been unsympathetic to the point of rudeness/aggression about my being upset over him and cancelled my invitation to tea, which I was looking forward to as I have been living on toast for the last three days. I feel really kicked in the teeth.
Poor Polo, being disrespected like that.
Deccy has been sympathetic, at least. His ears make a good hanky.
