Beacon Country Park, Wigan (Lancs)

Discovered this park last Tuesday when I took the day off to take Poppy out for a treat. Lovely park, plenty of parking, good woodland area, picnic area, some tree-lined enclosures which are safe for letting your dog off their lead, which is something I don't do with Poppy very often, but felt safe and confident at Beacon.

Brilliant place, litter free, dog poo free with plenty of bins especially for poo bags to be deposited.

Definately going again!
