Musing Monday 3rd July 2023

Morning all. Yep I am musing about what to get up to today. Maybe sort out what hasn't been touched since moving here. They do say if t hasn't been out of the cupboard for awhile then chuck it. Did anyone else watch Van Der Valk last evening? He is quite yummy. Have a good day folks.

Good morning Brenda

Good idea to have a sort out. I try to keep things down here but Barry has other ideas as things might come in useful, like all his cameras he never uses but no he won't try and sell them. As my sons say when he goes Ebay will be very useful

Hope you have luck sorting out the scooter Chris

Lovely here at the moment. Washed 3 loads of bedding overnight which is now dry and back on the bed. Towelsnow washed and out doing. On duty this afternoon

Take care everyone.

Afternoon all
Nothing much to report here.....still trying to sort this horsetail from next door, I am losing my temper as it's growing through the fence and they are so lazy that they don't bother doing the garden, I am supposed to be giving my panels to Steve.....at this rate they will end up in the tip as I am worried about his garden ending up with it.

Yes kazz, even if I spray it with weed killer, I don't think it will do much good.

Have you tried pouring white vinegar at the base of it Kelly. Also one idea is to Improve the drainage, raise the pH, and increase your soil's fertility

Brenda trouble is, I have fuschia bushes that my nan gave me 40 years ago.....I can't risk losing them, we are looking at the ph raising as fuscias are ph neutral to acidic
So far I have done WD-40, that's g9d but only kills the top shoots, I have used some weedkiller that you can't get anymore but obviously not spraying, just painting on mixed with washing up liquid... quite good but very hard for me and I have even injected them with weedkiller,vi have resorted to removing the shoots when I see them
