Morning all. Hope you all have a good day. Sun is shining so of for a wander. Going to try and walk a bit further today. Kelly did you start your new diet? Right, off I go. If you don't hear from Me I am still walking. I have stopped walking and the word for today is Pereia, a fascinating word for the thorax of some crustaceans.

another job repaired. The garden bench which we bought about 8 yrs ago the arm fell away from the down leg at the back. Yet again saving bits of wood I had in my workshop was a fairly large dawl rod. so drilled a hole and hammered in the dawl whch did 99 percent of the fix ,but to make sure used a long wood screw has a backup . Seems to have done the trick and should last for a few more years hopefully..

Brenda, I am not on a diet, I just fast for 16 hours, most of that is time asleep, I am not at all hungry which is odd as I used to munch loads. I can eat for 8 hours , I have got my shape back, back to hourglass again

Overcast now after starting off sunny. Walked Teazle with youngest grandchild and then left her watching anything on Disney whilst I cooked a banana cake and made an apple crumble. We had roast chicken for lunch. We started playing monopoly but Ana then threw a strop but none of us can remember what the problem was so obviously something not to her liking They are going home about 4.30 so a quiet evening I hope.

More than likely that was an automatic random call with the hope of getting an answer for cold calling. This method must try hundreds of calls a day to try and get to anyone. It might even be trying to get you to call a high priority number to scam you by pressing just one digit they ask you to do. On our house phone we can put a call block on a number

Good afternoon all

A nice day here and pleasant for being out and about, ie not too hot, not too cold

Gave Ted his first bath when we got home. Did him in the kitchen sink as we don't have a bath anymore and there's plenty of room for this tiny tot. I don't know who got wetter, me or him, but he's done now.

I'm hoping the blunt nose scissors turn up tomorrow so that I can trim the hair out of his eyes. He has runny eyes and I think his fluffy hair may be the problem

Haha Chris, I remember I used to do my staffie pups in the washing up bowl....bless them.
Brenda, as Barry says, it's just an automatic dialler and pot luck if anyone picks up, I don't answer my phone unless I recognise the number or if it's withheld, I have to be expecting a call from the hospital or I won't answer.
