Daily thread Tuesday 19th April 2022

Afternoon all
Off to get weighed today...doubt I have lost anything but I am fed up with it now. My nurse doesn't know what else to do with me, I have reduced my treatment right down and am now getting a flare up so my consultant is a nob lol.....he seems to think he can get me off treatment, been doing this 10 years now......never managed to get off treatment and was told by the consultant I do trust that I will be on it forever so we will be having a chat Thursday!

A man goes to the off licence on his push bike for a bottle of whisky. He put the whisky in the bicycle basket a started to ride home. Then he thought if he fell over the bottle may get broken,so he drank all the whisky. Lucky he did he fell off 5 times afterwards.

Good evening all

Another nice morning out and not nearly as busy today

We have got the blue badge approved. We both qualify, but I applied for it in Dave's name as he does the vast majority of driving. It will make parking in the car parks one heck of a lot simpler for us

Well done on the weight loss Kelly. A pound is a pound so celebrate it

Ahhhh well done Chris, it took me 20 years to apply, didn't want to admit a disability.....but it makes life so much easier, I can actually go to a shop and not be tired before I get there. Gary also can have one because of his deafness and epilepsy.... just incase it would make his life easier.
I am celebrating Chris.....beer!! Lovely

I thought about applying for Gary, but, to be honest, he rarely goes out with us these days

I know what you mean about the debating time prior to applying. The 'do we really need one' 'are we really bad enough to warrant applying' etc. None of us likes to admit our failings I suppose. The scooter has made life easier for us too. By taking turns on it, we both can take a break when we get out of breath
