VM have been going downhill for a long time, there is many people on the forums all complaining about the same thing as you Cally, althought I'm not getting intermittent connection problems, I am getting throttled/low speeds and don;t get me started on the gaming side of VM! they are a joke when it comes to that, same as the so called customer/tech support is a waste of time.

Think i've been lucky - as I said earlier, been with them over 10 years, internet has gone down twice in that 10 years!
Never had slow speeds or any probs!

The guys installing it were lovely & did a great job.
HOWEVER.... .....my number wasn't "ported" from B.T as they had forgotten to request it. (luckily I had retained my B.T line)...si I have to wait 10 days before it works on the Virgin line.
On Saturday morning the wireless hub decided it wasn't going to work (this is the newly released model) ..so I'm waiting to get a new one through the post.
Then I realised I have the V HD box, not the V+ model as ordered. When I contacted them a stroppy c.s operator said I'd have to pay an extra £49.00 for one .
I was put through to disconnections, who arranged for one to be installed, for free, on Thursday.
On the upside I'm getting the advertised 10mb, which is 9 x faster than with B.T due to the distance to the nearest exchange.

Yep, I agree, I have a much better service now Lorraine than ever before, and I agree Luke, the on demand TV is so much better than watching I Player on the net!

I signed up for 10mb but am only getting 130,
had a great argument yesterday with customer
services, been told I have to disconnect it all, and
the outside will remain, no way, they installed it,
and if they want it back they will have to come and
get it, they quite frankly can shove this where the
sun don't shine!!!, the engineers were cowboys, and
I told them that, do they honestly think I would stay
with a two bit cowboy outfit, absolutely NO WAY!!,
I am going to take great delight in telling them I
have cancelled.
I am also going to send a letter to the MD of
customer services and I will not mince my words,
I'll make his eyes water by the time I've finished
with them!!.
