Well they finally opened up the roads this afternoon, which is just as well as we had one lady who we couldn't get to see. Poor thing she must've been the only one not evacuated and soooo desperately needed her commode emptied.
Put it this way, she was very happy to see us even if we weren't too happy to see what she'd got for us!

The bomb has now grown to 1000lb and is now German not American!

They've towed it out to sea but can't get it to blow up

I'm sure I'll hear the bang when it does go up though

They lost it on Tuesday, thats when the news went quiet.
They had to eventually admit they've lost it when people started asking what was going on.

Well I've heard it all now! Not a LOST bomb but a mis-placed one???? There is a LOT of difference here then

Finally, today they found the bomb and blew it up!
It's been a whole week since they lost, I mean 'mislaid' it.
My OH was in the garden and felt a thud but as he'd left the footie on the tv at full blast I didn't notice. We are about 3 miles form where they blew it up.
