Saw one of the most heartwarming things the other day

A black lab called Shadow who Maddy went to puppy school with, belonged to a lass, she must have only been about 16, who was partially blind, and she had bought him and was training him herself (with her dad) to be her guide dog as she had some vision and the list for dogs was so long or something (it was 4 years ago!). Anyway, she did all the stuff in classes and he was such a good pup. I saw them both in town last week and he was doing a grand job, she was glad to hear Maddy was just as mental as she ever was and hadn't forgotten us (how could she?). Seems like only yesterday but it made my week, i'm still grinning now thinking of him, what a great pair.
