Parents getting a divorce

Thats it I think my parents are getting a divorce, after 50 years of marriage they are getting a divorce...and I can't stop laughing...........honestly....they are worse than children...

I am not present this is heaarsay from my sister Diane.
Act 1
My sister pops round and says she is going to get my BIL's birthday present...ie going to the fort shopping centre (somewhere Mom only goes if someone takes her in the car due to poor bus links) anyhow I digress my Mom decided to go with her and wants t get a new coat/jacket (for Summer) asks my Dad if he wants anything,...he says "No"
My Dad who is doing the crossword, and having a cup of tea, but my Mom goes through variou items of clothing.....
socks..."No"
shirt.... "No"
jacket.. "No"
trousers ...silence......then ..."No"...
Mom latches onto this and says "so you want trousers"...my Dad "No" ....my Mom "you didn't answer straight away"...my Dad's reply "I was having a drink of tea"
My Mom "what colour"
My Dad "brownish"
Mom putting her coat on "what do you mean brownish"
"My Dad "the tea its brownish"
My Mom then sighs stops picking up her bag and sits oppisite my bewildered Dad...and picks up the cup of tea and says "you've not got enough milk in this" my Dad says "you poured it"....My Mom puts the cup down beaten on that score..."what colour trousers".....my Dad "I don't want trousers" My Mom..."yes you do"...My Dad, whose given in says okay "alright, nothing light coloured, green darkish green but not light coloured..."
My Mom turns to my now doubled up with laughter sister and says "your Dad wants me to get him some trousers..."
They leave
Act2..
Mom returns with her jacket and said trousers....the colours....wait for it....cream,light blue and very light grey one step up from white....
An almightly row started.

I am about to make a journey to BHS to return said three pairs of trousers, and what prompted me to write this easy really as I picked up the bag Mom said to me....."now remember your Dad does not like light coloured trousers...." then my Dad says "Your Mom knows what I like..."

So maybe the divorce is off................. ...parents....

That made me chuckle.
Reminds me of my Mum and Dad when he was still alive and Gorden and I are getting a bit like that nearly 32 years later.
