Disinfectant -tip

Here is how I get my disinfectant to go further, I use a rather expensive one bought from the dog shows so found this a great help.

Buy from the garden centre one of those pump up plant sprayers and dilute your chosen smellies in there. Once it is pumped up you can spray all over, up the fence where the boys pee and all over. It lasts much longer done this way.

Twice a year I use a parvo spray and do everywhere, even the carpets.

happy spraying LOL

I do this Diane as well

ive got chippings on part of our garden and its a bit hard to throw a bucket of disinfectant over it and then sweep it about
so i use a 5 litre pump up spray and it works a treat

the one i use is "yard fresh" from the pet fresh people
but if i aint got that i use jeyes disinfectant
it stinks but works well

I use a product called odorkill from the animal health company this is brilliant at getting rid of pee smells on patio etc,its is not for covering the smell it actually removes it, great if you have a dog that occassionally marks in the house. has a chewing gum smell, I also use a product called viruside(sp) I ordered from the vets this kill all parvo etc, but you must rinse well and not let dogs onto it til it is dried.

Pete. sorry if this is teachin gran to suck eggs but do make sure they jeyes is completely dry before dogs go onto any area cleaned with Jeyes, it is toxic to animals, although I do love the smell.

thicko me should of just wrote both LOL

The spray pump is a Hozelock one, I bought the biggest one as I spray over quite a large area, you can get other makes much cheaper these days. I bought mine years ago so they do last.

I use Cromassol disinfectant and if I forget to get it from the shows they post it out for free. I usually buy my parvocide from the same place also. The beauty of doing it in the spray is you just dilute the amount you require. Very cost effective if your like me and just add another dollop for luck LOL
