yes of course we would never see her sent to a kennel or dogs home. The reason why i suggested a home with no children is so that whoever takes her would be able to spend almost 1.1 with her. If she is not given this attention she does become 'naughty' pulling the bin over in the kitchen when you are in the house and stealing food. This all adds to the stress of chasing around a 2 and a 4 year old.

I am sorry you are having to give up your elderly dog

I have four dogs, a 2 year old son and 7 year old stepson, I help on the farm and also volunteer for GSD Rescue. Life is hectic and can sometimes feel too crowded, but I could never imagine having to give up any of my dogs

Helping in rescue, I know the realities of trying to find an older dog a new home - it ain't easy!

If you are determined to rehome Molly, then you should contact a cocker spaniel breed rescue for help.
