Awfull weekend :(

This weekend has been horrible. Ice was getting off the sofa and his backend went from under him. It was like his back legs just stopped working. We kept trying to get him up, but he just couldnt manage it,
What I havent told people on here before is that my darling Ice had cancer
The reason my boy looked so fat bless him was that the tumour was spreading in his body. This weekend when his back end went, his fight went too.
You could see in his eyes he didnt want to fight it anymore, his body had given up. If he had wanted to fight it we would have done everything and anything to keep him here with us, But just looking at his eyes, we knew it was time.
This morning at half past 8, my baby boy went to the vets for the last time, Pete and I sat in the back of the car whilst the vet came out to us and let Ice drift off to sleep.
We then drove him to the crem and had to leave him.

OMG I am so sorry to hear this. Ice was such a gorgeous boy, I'm sorry you didn't feel able to talk about his cancer. That must have been so hard for you to cope with.

My thoughts are with you, he's at rest now, you did the right thing.

Huge hugs to you xxxxxxxx

RIP gorgeous boy xxxx

Really sorry to hear of your news, it is a crushing feeling as I'm sure many of us know.

Even though I don't know you, I'm sure you gave him a wonderful life which he enjoyed living. What better gift could any of us give to a dog than that?

Once your pain stops, you'll be able to celebrate that wonderful life he lead and be proud of the fact you made it happen.

My thoughts are with you.

Remember all the good times and fill up the hole they leave you with full of happy memories and love. They are never far way from us because they are always tucked up safe in our hearts... Snuggled in our thoughts and running free in our dreams...

Run free Ice...
