Wicker/rattan dog beds

Does anyone have a wicker or rattan dog bed?

Do you find they are robust enough or do they break easily?

I had one years ago but the dog chewed all the edges making it lethal to the ankles, they're also not easy to clean.

I had one but I agree, they become lethal weapons after a while because they taste so good. They creak a lot as well when the dog moves so not ideal if you have your dog in your bedroom at night.

When I had my old boy Ted, I bought him a large one the first week we got him and it lasted him amost all his 13 years, the only reason it gave up in the end is we got Fozzie dog and within a month he had chewed it all up and only the base was left. So if you have a chewer I wouldnt recomend it otherwise they are fine.

I've got a really cheap raised up one like a little mini sofa. It used to be my cat's but Molly took a liking to it and it stayed.

Definitely agree with what the others have said though. If you've got a chewer or you're a fanatic about cleaning you probably want to steer clear
