I have a JRT and a NI.... there are two dogs I have always wanted, an Irish Wolf Hound and a Griffon.

The Irish Wolf Hound because when I was small my Uncle used to deliver fresh/frozen dog food and I can remember sitting in his van as he went to knock on the door of the big house he was delivering to.
Two IWH came bounding out and jumped up into the van with me! I was only about 6 and should've been terrified but they were lovely. I had a good bath from them, I can remember that, and have always had a soft spot for them.
Only now we've got a big house, plenty of countryside, etc... and are back into owning dogs am I thinking I'd love one, one day.
(I've already made sure there is plenty of room in the kitchen for a single mattress as its bed )

As for the Griffon, saw them when I was a teenager at the Richmond dog show. I had my first JRT's at the time, but fell in love with them. Had been e-mailing a breeder for info and would've had one a couple of years ago, except Mum needed a pup in a hurry so we got Tonts.... who I wouldn't swap for the world.

(Mum had cancer and didn't have the time left to wait for a griffon pup).

If I couldn't have a dally I don't think I'd want anything else from the utility group! (no offence peeps)

I'd have either a GSP or a mini schnauzer! (oh hang on... are they utility?)

Edit: Just checked, Mini schnauzers are utility so there you go - it'd have to be a GSP!!

I know I'll always have a gundog, but if I couldnt then either I think some thing from the pastoral group, or utility group.

I love my bull breeds, but if I were to change it would have to be an husky,N.I or a spitz type dog,
these are my other favorite type of dog

If I could`nt have another Boxer, I would go for a gundog, I cant decide between a Spinone or an Irish Water Spanial, but I am also in love with the Bracco Italiano.... I also love the Vizsla and the Gordon and English setter

Choices , Choices, I will just hae to have em all
