The "Terrible Twosome" get one main meal at night (usually about 6 p.m.), but they have regular biscuit times as well. Breakfast is a Shape, a Markie and a Bonio, plus they get two Shapes and a Markie ar bedtime. Both "Boys" are well past the "Feed me! Feed me!" puppy stage!

Whilst I agree with Azz about the feeding them after the people eat, it has always been more convenient in Snorri Mansions to feed them earlier and "get it out of the way" - otherwise, we have our own meal interrupted by scavenging BCs whose tummy-clocks have gone off. It has been going on too long for me to be able to say whether feeding them first has had any of the effects that Azz reports. They've been quite reasonable; too late to tell if feeding them last would have made them any better!

Tamino and Lucy get fed 2 times a day, at around 7 in the morning and 7:30 at night, but they sometimes get a small meal in the middle of the day. I'm still trying to get weight on Lucy so she gets the fatty extras. Penny gets fed once a day at varied times.

I tend to feed her three times shes almost three but she starts licking her bowl and grumbling if we dont so its half a cup in morning full cup at lunch and half a cup at tea (biscuits) and we substitute half a cup for things like chews or scraps...she is only meant to have about 2 and a half cups a day but she gets stroppy if she doesnt have lunch with us!!!

my 2 get fed at 8ish and then 7 ish and ive always fed them out of a raised dish as its ment to help them digest food better since i couldnt buy one big enough for 2 to eat at same time i had to make one out of a box and a roasting tin so 2 boxer heads can fit in ...looks more comfy for them as i always thought big dogs look strange having to bend right down to floor .. sorry i went a bit of topic there lol

Hudson and Delta get fed once a day, in the evenings, Maddy (obviously) still gets fed 4 times a day at the moment but it will go down to 3 at 12 weeks

Used to feed the big ones twice a day but they often left it in the morning...

Twice a day here too, having a breed with a tendency to bloat.

Mine have one meal a day, but a dentastik in the morning, so is that twice?

Also (and please don't shout at me too loud, I'm only asking) I have read that it is beneficial to not feed for a full 24hrs every 7 days or so. What do you think?

Ally is fed twice a day now, but I´ve thought about changing it to one time a day.

At the mo they're fed twicw a day, but would prefer to feed Pic once a day as he's sooo picky and wastes most of it when fed twice! Think I'd prefer to feed once a day for convenience really.
Katy, I don't think it's physically possible to feed a Lab once a day unless you don't mind loosing the odd limb?!
