Eddie - 3 year old male Terrier X Shepherd
Eddie, Terrier X Shepherd, DOB 6.11.08 - Sturton by Stow, Lincs
Homing Requirements: Eddie needs a Terrier home where his introductions to people, dogs and (?) cats are given time. Needs an inclusive home with clear boundaries and ample exercise. Off lead dog in low dog density areas. Eddie needs a secure garden with 6' panel fencing.
His Story: Eddie has been with his family since he was a pup, living with his Shepherd X mother and Terrier X father (pictured below) and a cat. They are left in a garden kennel with run during work hours and the father and Eddie have been found to have fights. Neutered and vax’d, needs chipping.
Advert: Eddie is a great character. He is energetic and gets wound up if not regularly exercised. Eddie is obedient and willing to learn. He can be a little possessive of his toys so needs aware children, good with older children. Can cling to his 'loved' person so he needs experienced owners who will set boundaries. He loves routine which settles him as he is quick to react in unfamiliar circumstances. Kept outside in a kennel with run by day, but in the house in the evenings and weekends. Sleeps in his bed beside his owner’s bed.
Eddie is a red wirehaired terrier of a bigger size due to his Shepherd cross mother. He does mouth in play, but is receptive to command and correction. An off lead dog in a low dog density area away from streets. Jumps in the back of the car with a dog guard. He is magnificent looking, full of personality and a 'bow wow' of a Sheperrier!
