cavalier or king charles

this is probably a question for inca.

What is the diff between a cavalier spaniel and a cavalier king charles spaniel.

you said before they were completely diff breeds, but i can only find the cavalier king charles spaniel on dog breed info.com

I like both But from memory am sure the cavalier is "livlier"

well. . . as far as i can see on internet.. cavalier and king charles are same breed

No jenny they are a seperate breed, king charles, and cav king charles are different.

hi well done Gems ......the cavalier is a little bigger than the CHARLIE as well call them have a much smaller frame and as you can see a much more pugged muzzle ........... the cavalier was bred from the charlie and pug many years ago........the cavalier was first registerd with the kennel club in 1945 .......after an American gent wanted to find a spaniel that looked like the ones king charles the 1st used to own ......

hmm.. i think the one we had was a king charles spaniel then. I have a piccy.. but shes very old in the pic.. so hard to tell.

ok... this was my doggy jane. lived til the ripe old age of 14 i think. but this is her not long b4 she died, thats y she looks a bit depressed . She was my first dog, when i was little.
