Dallas is back in the US..

US critics have delivered a mixed response to the updated version of the television series Dallas, which has premiered more than 20 years after the original series ended.

I used to like watching Dallas and Dynasty.

The plots were just as inane as our own home grown soaps but at least the casts were good looking, well dressed and well groomed.

I used to snigger at the breakfasts eaten outside in a Force 9 gale; the fact that exercise bikes were used to keep fit despite living on a billion acre ranch; and of course there was only ONE telephone in the building!

Screamingly funny.

When I lived in Saudi, somebody named their villa "Southfrok" (sic)

Do you know when? I am sooo excited about it! I was old enough to watch it when it was first on but never watched it. I'd started watching it a few years ago on Gold and loved it!

I had heard it was coming here in the Autumn! Can't wait!!
