Absolutely! I have read numerous times that my dog (various gundogs) is obsessed with birds and will chase them. All they need to do is look at what they were bred for and hey, you've got the answer why!

Bingo! LOL! Same with BCs - "my dog chases and nips the kids"; "he wants to chase bikes, joggers, cars etc".
