Designer Dogs

Where are we with this?

My husband over heard two bints in work the other day talking about a springador - WTF? Can you imagine what that would be like if you ended up with the worst traits crossed?

Are people still buying these designer dogs and thinking they have a specific breed? Are they still being sold for a premium?

A colleague at work seemed to think that it's dying abit of a death now as people are becoming wise to it but then there is the issue of shifting all these un-wanted designer pups!

springador have been around for a while they just haven't had that lable attached to them. The ones i have met have all made outstanding gun dogs and thats the reason they were bred, to work.

Springerdors....very popular down here....but called Springer/lab crosses

ETA - the doodle thing is a bit OTT still. I have been to 2 pups recently who are whatever generation crosses....both were neutered at 8 weeks old by the breeders (well - the vets the breeders use)

bint [ bint ] (plural bints)

noun

Definition:

U.K. an offensive term for a girl or woman ( slang )

Here and in Liverpool esp, it's derogitory (sp) for old woman....ie old Bint
